It was July 2020. Mohini's crew was safely tucked away in Grenada after recent adventures at sea, and we were looking forward to some time on land socializing, shopping, and enjoying the hospitality of these beautiful islands. Grenada is popular with cruising sailors this time of year because of its consistent weather, beautiful beaches and low crime. Also known as ‘The Spice Islands’ Grenada is the second top producer of nutmeg in the world, but the economy first and foremost, is tourism-based.

Mind you, entering the country was no easy process. Grenada was still Covid free at the time and we were required to remain off-shore for another 10 days prior to being cleared to enter. Once deemed healthy though, we were free to finally relax and explore the many restaurants and sites.
