In 2016, while searching for the ideal sailing catamaran to accommodate our family of four to explore the Bahamas during the winter months, we stumbled upon a charming little Facebook group called "Champagne Boating on a Beer Budget." We chuckled at the name, thinking, "So relatable!" The group was filled with countless and fantastic deals on boats and gear, alongside a comprehensive "how-to" guide of the same name. Jim B!, the author and administrator of the group, quickly became a friend and an invaluable resource during our boat search.

 

Years passed, and we found a wonderful catamaran named "Mohini" in Tampa, Florida. Meanwhile, Jim B's Facebook group continued to flourish, and discussions about potential collaborations began to surface.
